I want to acknowledge the journey we have been on together. Throughout Covid-19 Level 4 lockdown in New Zealand, I live-streamed free daily online yoga classes. This collective experience changed all of our lives.

Upon reflection, I have learned that is it possible for me to virtually share the knowledge and skills you need to make your yoga practice more safe and sustainable; as well the laughter, bliss, and authentic human connection that makes my yoga so unique, sacred and I believe, ESSENTIAL to wellbeing.

What I have also come to learn is that my studentship has organically spread throughout Aotearoa, beyond our borders to Australia, over the oceans to the UK, and even to corners of the Globe such as Qatar and Stockholm. This experience has shown me I can translate and connect as a global community.

The foundations of Nirmala Online will be yoga and yoga philosophy. However, this space will evolve and will draw on the ancient sister sciences of Yoga and Naturopathy to be your complete toolbox of self-care essentials to help guide you in understanding your body and expanding your health and wellbeing.

The core philosophy of Nirmala Wellbeing is balance and kindness. Growth happens when we gently step out from our comfort zones...not leap.
